VisualXSL
A visual WYSIWYG designer for XSL-FO layouts — build forms and document designs over PDF or raster backgrounds, without hand-writing XSL-FO.
VisualXSL is a visual, WYSIWYG design application for building XSL-FO layouts. Instead of hand-writing stylesheets, you work on a canvas: load a PDF or raster image of an existing form or page as the background, place data fields, text, and graphics over it, and VisualXSL generates the XSL stylesheet for you. The result is standard XSL-FO, ready for the RenderX formatting pipeline.
VisualXSL is a Windows application.
It is most commonly used together with VDPMill for variable-data document production: designers lay out statements, policies, and forms in VisualXSL, and VDPMill formats them at volume. The VDPMill base package includes VisualXSL licenses.
